AJ Bomber's Review Insights Flame War...

We Wisconsinites are a cantankerous bunch.  We love our sports teams, our beers, our sausages, and of course our cheeses.  We also love our burgers...furiously it seems.  Also, since we don't have a pro hockey team to root for, our favorite winter pastime seems to be bitching about perceived injustices. 

Just imagine the carnage if it had been snowing that day

When Lacey Muszynski, the newest burger correspondent at A Hamburger Today, posted a mixed review of the Milwaukee burger joint AJ Bombers last Monday, she probably wasn't aware of the virtual riot she was instigating.  Poor, naive Lacey. 

The next day OnMilwaukee.com blogger and AJ Bombers fanboy, Jeff Sherman, posted a call to arms for the fiercely loyal patrons of the establishment.  That call was answered by a group that lovingly refer to themselves as the "Twitterati".  This has something to do with a heavy reliance on Twitter to promote the restaurant.  Then, yesterday the A.V. Club, a non-satirical entertainment newspaper and website published by The Onion (an exremely satirical newspaper and website), jumped into the fray.

A burger for douches?  Commenters say, yes!

As someone who has never been to AJBs, and has also never seen the show Food Wars, I have been thoroughly enjoying reading the heated exchanges on each of the websites involved in the fracas.  If you haven't been following the howler monkeys from the supporters and detractors of AJBs screeching about how unfair the opposing camp is being please go now.  I hope you all find it as amusing as I do.
