With the recent trend to add more, and more to burgers, we end up with the likes of the Fatty Melt, or the Luther Burger.  So, this was bound to happen sooner or later.  I never imagined that so many things that I enjoy thoroughly on their own could be combined together in a Frankenstein-ish nightmare of a sandwich, but here it is.

Culinary daredevil ayersian, from Roadfood.com, recently visited Local Burger & Fries in North Hampton, Massachusetts based on a recent nod from the USA Today.  Apparently not the type to give much concern to one's own health or well-being, the writer went for the Chili Ham Dog.  Described as a hot dog, wrapped in ground beef, then coated in Cap'n friggin' Crunch before being deep fried.  Once on the bun, the ham dog is dressed in pickles, chili sauce, and American Cheese!  It received a rave review from the writer.  Undoubtedly followed by a complimentary angioplasti.
